A visit to Bramble Iron on Whidbey Island

Larry and Lani visited our clients on Whidbey Island this week and took some photos of their finished timberframe home. They had a great time, and the house looks spectacular! Our clients are creative and artistic. They made many of the features and details of the house themselves, such as the beautiful leaf hinge in the photo below. We love working with talented people!

From the backyard the house looks welcoming and gracious. A trellised patio with french doors leads to the living room inside.

The TJP tile makes a nice detail on the front porch entry column.

Our client custom made this hinge in his forge.

The kitchen is cozy and displays our clients’ collections to advantage.

The dining area flows directly into the two-story living room and opens out to a covered porch.

The living room gets wonderful light from windows on both sides and opens to the backyard patio.

These images have also been posted in the online portfolio for this project at our website.
